Tae was born in Kagoshima prefecture. She grew up with her three siblings, but she calls herself shy. Tae loves to travel which is probably influenced by the fact that her family moved around a lot when she was young for her father’s job. She is eager to explore unknown places, especially remote destinations. Tae jumped into the filmmaking industry from a totally outside world. She feels like every day she learns something new, no matter how many years she has now worked in the industry. She is curious to experience new worlds through working on sets or conversing with other creative-minded people. Currently, Tae is working part-time while raising her child, however, her passion to create films never fades. Once this difficult situation with COVID-19 has settled, she is looking forward to shooting abroad again.
