Born in China and raised in Japan, Masaichi also spent a year living in Norway. He speaks Japanese and Chinese fluently and has some proficiency in English. Growing up across different cultural environments has sharpened his ability to pick up on even the subtlest nuances.

 

He is a big fan of the evocative photography and memorable copy in Iichiko’s monthly advertisements, and hopes to create work that touches people’s hearts in the same way.

 

A lover of the cold, he cherishes moments spent connecting with nature, whether camping in the crisp winter air, stargazing, unwinding in a sauna, snowboarding, or hiking through snowy mountains.
