Tadashi Sato shoots Bakarhythm’s
serial drama “Satsui no Michinori” 2020.10.28

TOKYO DoP Tadashi’s latest work is new TV series ‘Satsui no Michinori’ (The Road to Murder), written by Bakarhythm and directed by Takashi Sumida. The show’s main two protagonists are played by Bakarhythm himself and Arata Iura.
 
“With the director, we agreed on the theme of ‘Tension and Relaxation'” Tadashi explains. “It is a fairly typical method in the thriller genre, but can also work well in comedy too. This allowed me to put things together that would otherwise seem like complete opposites. This is something very different to my usual style and I kept the idea at the forefront of my mind throughout shooting the series. Chill out and enjoy the show, while also giving you chills in the middle of the night.”

 
‘Satsui no Michinori’ (The Road to Murder) is a WOWOW original series and will be on air from midnight on Monday 9th November. There are 7 episodes in total and the first episode is currently available to watch on YouTube. Not to be missed!
